Pretend City Children’s Museum

The Cantara-designed and built Audio/Video and automation systems entertains several hundred families daily at the first-of-its-kind 28,000 sq. ft. children’s museum in Irvine. The system includes audio, video, show control, interactive entertainment lighting, exhibit communications, and remote observation. The Museum features over a dozen interactive exhibits which together form a real “miniature” city, which Cantara brings to life with over sixty unique audio tracks, seven video displays, and two presentation projection systems. The technology for Pretend City was designed around ultimate reliability in order to meet the demands of a 364 days a year operating schedule.
